About Me
My name is Bryan Dixon. I'm currently an Associate Professor at California State University, Chico.
Most of my research to this point has been about smartphone security. I have primarily investigated lightweight techniques for detection of malicious code or anomaly detection techniques as a mechanism for determining if something malicious or undesired is happening on a smartphone. For more information on publications of mine or my research please follow the research link.
Much of my other research is into building platforms, materials, assignments to assist in teaching my various courses. I have published some of these either as research papers or as open source projects. You can learn more about the courses I teach on my website.
